About Me

For over thirty years I have been exploring the relationship between healing, embodiment, spirituality, and human potential.

My work brings together counselling, coaching, Tai Chi, meditation, healing, conscious relationships, and Taoist practices to help people reconnect with themselves, their purpose, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.

I hold a BACP Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and have spent over three decades working within therapeutic, coaching, and personal development environments. My past experience includes counselling, mental health support, coaching, hypnotherapy, NLP, energy healing, and spiritual development.

History

Before moving into full-time teaching and healing work, I worked for ten years as a sales manager. Due to facing my own mental health struggles with depression and anxiety, I started my own healing journey through meditation and yoga, eventually transitioning into youth and community work and mental health support.

During this next ten-year period, I developed and delivered wellbeing programmes, depression and anxiety management training, and holistic health initiatives for organisations including mental health charities, NHS services, social services, and blue-light services.

More than twenty years ago, inspired by my own healing journey, I began working full-time as a teacher of Infinite Tai Chi, Hatha Yoga, meditation, and contemplative practices.

I was recently given the title of Tai Chi Master by my own Tai Chi Master and continue to share these practices through classes, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, and one-to-one mentoring.

My meditation background spans over three decades and includes teaching Infinite Meditation, mantra practices, contemplative inquiry, mindfulness, and embodied awareness. Alongside this, I have maintained a lifelong commitment to spiritual practice through Tai Chi, meditation, prayer, and inner reflection.

Sexual Energy Mastery

My work with sexuality and relationships began through Taoist practices. I have trained with Mantak Chia and my own Taoist Master. In more recent years, I have been trained and mentored by Diana and Michael Richardson, becoming a certified teacher of their Making Love approach. I now offer online programmes, men's trainings, and couples retreats. I facilitate some of this work independently and sometimes alongside my partner, Sarah Rose Bright.

I am also a qualified hypnotherapist through Dr Keith Hearne's European School of Hypnotherapy. I have also gained certification in NLP and trained to the level of Reiki Master.

Over a period of decades, these various disciplines have naturally integrated into what is now Yin Tantra (The Way of Water) Men's Sexual Energy Mastery Training, the Making Love Couples Retreats, and my one-to-one Three Bodies Healing method, which supports the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of healing by helping people reconnect with the deeper wisdom of the soul.

Over the last decade, my work has focused primarily on helping individuals improve their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing through a combination of coaching, counselling, healing, meditation, Tai Chi, yoga, and embodied awareness practices.

My Ethos

I work with people from all walks of life, including leaders, therapists, healers, couples, and men seeking deeper connection, confidence, and authenticity. My particular passion is helping men reconnect with their hearts, develop emotional maturity, cultivate a healthy relationship with their sexual energy, and discover a more grounded and integrated expression of masculinity.

At the heart of everything I teach is a simple understanding:

Healing is not about becoming someone else. It is about coming home to who you already are.

My work is deeply influenced by the wisdom of Eastern psychology and the principle of water. Water does not force, struggle, or strive. It flows, adapts, and ultimately finds its way. This understanding forms the foundation of much of my teaching and approach.

Whether I am teaching Tai Chi, guiding meditation, supporting a client through personal challenges, facilitating healing work, or leading a retreat, my intention remains the same: to help people reconnect with their own inner wisdom, their innate wellbeing, and the deeper presence that already exists within them.

Alongside my professional training and experience, my work is informed by a daily contemplative practice of meditation and inner listening. Many of the insights I share emerge from this ongoing relationship with presence, love, and what I experience as a deeper intelligence within life itself.

While my work is grounded and practical, it also honours the mystery, beauty, and spiritual nature of being human. I believe that beneath our stories, challenges, and conditioning, there is something fundamentally whole within each of us. My role is not to fix people, but to help create the conditions in which that wholeness can be remembered, embodied, and lived.

My Approach

My approach is friendly, relaxed, trauma-informed, and deeply supportive. Drawing on decades of experience in counselling, meditation, Tai Chi, healing, and personal development, I create a safe, non-judgemental space where people can explore at their own pace.

As a trained and qualified counsellor, my work is rooted in the understanding that lasting change does not come through force, pressure, or fixing ourselves, but through awareness, compassion, embodiment, and a deeper connection with who we truly are.

Whatever the modality, counselling, coaching, Tai Chi, healing, meditation, relationship work, or spiritual exploration, the thread running through all of my work is helping people come home to themselves.
